Suri Futures is the permanent home of Accoyo Bruxo, one of the greatest suri herdsires in North America. We're honored to be Bruxo's sole owners and proud that our farm has the highest concentration of Bruxo genetics anywhere in the world. Our breeding program also includes genetics from Durazno, Inca, Crown Royale, Torbio and Mahogany Prince. We offer ARI registered suri females bred to these lines.

Starting in 2001, we had the immense good fortune to establish our breeding program with the illustrious Bruxo, sire and grandsire of many champion suri alpacas - McGyver, Helios, Luxor and Captain Morgan among them. Uniquely, Bruxo has retained the fineness of his fleece into old age; aged 19, his fleece surpasses many young males touted as studs. Truly an 'impact herdsire', Bruxo passes on his legendary conformation, fineness, luster and temperament to all his offspring and their offspring. The success of our fiber industry depends on such genetics!

We specialize in breeding ARI registered suri alpacas for health and vigor, flawless conformation and excellence in fiber production that is destined for an international textile market. Suri fiber is unique among animal fibers, more like silk than any other fiber in the world. Well bred suri alpacas can produce more than 5 pounds of uniformly fine, lustrous, silky prime fiber each year, in many colors. This goal guides our breeding program and our husbandry as the suri fiber textile market comes into commercial production.

Breeding suris for fleece production, we emphasize the fleece show competition (scored against a national standard) for our production awards, rather than the more subjective halter competition that is judged among the entries and hence the level of the show. We plan to work in the suri fiber production industry for the next 20 years or so.
